Hello All,
  I have not been able to view the dialog bar when creating and editing arcs.  This is the first time I have had to do this since loading NX 1.0.1.2.  Did the dialog box move somewhere other than where it was previously?  I am used to seeing it appear in the lower right corner of my screen, but now, instead of the usual dialog bar, I get a statement of how the curve is/was created, i.e. screen position.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!
EWH

Problem solved!  It was a toolbar setting.

RE: curve parameters

I am wondering what the name of the toolbar you describe isand if it can be added in V18. When I'm using UG it is not shown consistently and there is a hide operation which I can't seem to unhide afterwards.

Does this toolbar have a name because I can't seem to find it while customizing my toolbars.

I've only come across this problem one time, and am using NX.  The solution to my problem came from the UG/BBS and is as follows:

Edit the Curve as you normally would, and when you expect the input parameters toolbar to show, choose the following: View > Toolbars > Customize > Close;
the toolbar should now display.

I'm not sure if this will help you with your problem.  Good luck!

Eric

RE: curve parameters

ewh,

Thanks a lot, your suggestion worked perfectly.

Do you have a word document somewhere with UG workarounds, I'm thinking of creating one for myself?
I seem to use them a lot.

Michael
