Creating multiple sheets

Creating multiple sheets

Creating multiple sheets

(OP)
Hello again, everyone.

I've been hesitant to ask this because I'm sure there's a simple solution, but... I can't seem to get it going over here.

I'm finally getting around to customizing my title block, and I'm running into a few issues.

First, I'd like to be able to add sheets to a drawing, and have my drawing template carry over to the new sheet.  Unfortunately, I'm getting the default template each time.  What am I overlooking?

Second, I'd like to have an area for the date the drawing was created.  Is there any method to have the date the file was created show?  I've only seen the "short date" and "long date", which change the entry each time the file is opened.

Thanks!

RE: Creating multiple sheets

First of all, you need to save the Sheet Format for your title block and a different one (if you desire) for your continuation sheets.

Then, you can open the default template if you like and reload the sheet, selecting your 1st sheet format.  Next, you add a sheet, selecting your 2nd sheet format.

To finish, you save what you've got now to a new template file.

Enjoy,

Tim
