constraints

(OP)
hello my friends
does anyone know how to turn off the constraints in both the assembly design and the sketcher.thank you.

RE: constraints

hi,

use the search function for constraint, then select them and hide them...

RE: constraints

you can also use the command "constraint filter"

I just learned about this today, it's really helpful

RE: constraints

the only problem with the search function is that the workbench criteria doesn't work.

Does anyone know a way to select only the assembly constraints thrue all assy levels in one deal. the contextual menu method is quite time cunsuming on a large assembly

Sap.

RE: constraints

Yep, the constraint filter function is the best for you. forget about the search its a little to long and complex.

Can't find it ? Do this : Under the View menu (Yes the one on top between Edit and Insert) So, View + Commands list + ConstraintFilter. You'll have a little window to hide all constraint or more...

There's no icon for this function, create one (that's what I did) using Tools+Customize+Commands.

Take Care, cause this will hide ALL constraint sketcher constraint, Assy const... So don't forget about this function if you are in sketcher mode and couldn't see your dimensions.

Hope this help!

Kevin
