What number of fecal coliforms can one expect to be dicharged from a activated sludge - sewage treatment plant? Just a common number! Does 200 per 100ml sound alright?

RE: Fecal Coliform

It all depends on the quality you were aiming for, and what the regulatory authorities asked you to do. The figure you give suggest quite a high degree of treatment, assuming you are talking about a plant treating domestic effluent.

I just need that number for an outfall study to calculate the dilution of the plume. It's just residential sewage and no disinfection.
