Drafting, Dimensions in view Disappearing

Drafting, Dimensions in view Disappearing

Drafting, Dimensions in view Disappearing

(OP)
Hello,

Currently I have come across this problem where dimensions in certain views on certain sheets have disappeared. I tried to put them back in but the new dim also vanasihes to. Other drafting eneties are being affected to such as my centerline from hole to hole, those have disappeared and also disappear when I reinsert them. Just wandering if any has come across this in SW2003.

You may want to check your annotations folder, in the drawing mananger tree, and make sure that show reference dimensions is checked.

RE: Drafting, Dimensions in view Disappearing

If your drawing has layers, make sure the active layer, where new dims, notes, sketch lines, etc. are being added, is set to be visible. I had this frustrating yet simple problem once and sure enough, I made that layer visible and there were all those pesky dims and notes that kept disappearing!
