Unconnected regions in part imported to CAE

Unconnected regions in part imported to CAE

(OP)
Hey.
I have imported a shell-part from solidworks to ABAQUS 631 CAE, and when i try to run the job it says: "There are 14 unconected regions in the model".

Are there any possibilities to conect the shells in CAE?

If not the only solution seems to be creating the part in CAE.

I would appreciate any help

Thanks.

RE: Unconnected regions in part imported to CAE

The error you are specifying must be in the part module. Have a look at the repair tools and in particular the stitch option which should join the separate parts together into a single part.
