Qleader Stacks Text

Qleader Stacks Text

Qleader Stacks Text

(OP)
On one of our 2000i CAD stations, the operator uses Qleader and it usually runs OK.  But in the middle of drafting a construction plan, Qleader started stacking the text one word per line.  Looks like alphabetical ladder rungs!  I checked his Qleader Settings -- they're the same as everyone else's.  Checked Mtext Properties -- I'm not real familiar with those, but looked OK.
    Also, Qleader prompts to enter text WIDTH.  What the heck is that all about?

Thanks . . . . . Rocky

RE: Qleader Stacks Text

QLEADER->SETTINGS

You can set how qleader works and what kind of text it uses TEXT or MTEXT.

RE: Qleader Stacks Text

A note, everytime you hit an ENTER while creating the text, you are starting a new line and text starts "stacking".

RE: Qleader Stacks Text

QLEADER->SETTINGS

MText options:

The first check box is "Prompt for width".

Does that fix it?

Chris

RE: Qleader Stacks Text

If you're using MTEXT and do not PROMPT for width, you are forced to ENTER for each line (it won't word wrap).  If you do PROMPT For Width, the MTEXT will word-wrap to that width.
