low flow submersible
low flow submersible
(OP)
I am looking for a submersible pump with an operating point at 105 gpm at 38 ft TDH. Most of the pumps I've seen in this range operate near the shutoff point.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

To try to pass 2 1/2" solids, you will need a large pump discharge and recessed impeller. Depending on the nature and shape of these solids, you could go with hard impeller or rubber lined impeller. You will also need to run at a lower speed to reduce the flow and head for this pump. Try calling the Wier group and Hazleton submersible pumps. If the application is 'critical' my opinion is to use Hazleton.
Best regards and good luck.

Example on a quick check on ABS, Flygt, Grundfos ( Sarlin) all had pumps around 3 to 3.5 kwatt,3 phase suitable.
Unless there are other restrictions, not menioned, you shouldn't have a problem sourcing a suitable pump.

I think of grinder pumps and smaller piping for flow rates less than 100 GPM (or around 100 GPM).
You are in the blackhole range of sewage pumps!
