Spacing between process tanks

Spacing between process tanks

Spacing between process tanks

(OP)
Does anyone know whether either OSHA, BOCA or any other regulatory institution has a requirement for minimum distance between process vessels. The vessels in question are used for the same process and operate at ambient pressure. The word from the insurance comapny is that a minumum of 3 feet should be available between the units. The design does not necessitate nor allow for any personnel access between the vessels.
