So many kinds of pumps

So many kinds of pumps

So many kinds of pumps

(OP)
I have been researching different kinds of pumps for filtered water in a low pressure, low flow application, with minimal pulsation, but it seems there are so many different kinds of pumps that can do the job. Are certain kinds better than others? Any recommendations as to how to pick a favorite?

RE: So many kinds of pumps

A centrifugal pump may be a good idea as a start for low head and low flow application. However, there are some limitations to be aware of at the inlet conditions.

RE: So many kinds of pumps

Contact a few pump suppliers for their inputs and  determine if there is a consensus of opinion  and follow that consensus.
