HMI Software

(OP)
Hello!

I need to renew a 10 years old control application that was build in C++.

The whole purpose of renew it is to use a HMI Software Application Builder instead of Generic Application Builder.

The Question is, What HMI software is better?

It seems to me that there are a lot of HMI software application builders in the market, and I would like to know, which one(s) is(are) the most recommended to use.

Thanks,
Agustin

What is this doing in the Automotive forum? If you're using a PLC for control, it should be in that forum.

The most popular HMI programming package is Wonderware by Intellution. It will work with most PLCs.

If you're running Allen-Bradley (and now, others), their new RSView ME works pretty well.

Most HMI programs are very user friendly now. Not like the old days with C++ and Basic.
