Acad2000 Postscript Export

Acad2000 Postscript Export

(OP)
Hi,
I have a customer who wants a postscript version of a AutoCAD 2000 drawing. Unfortunately the postscript files I create do not seem to work.  He keeps saying that his programs says it can not parse the postscript.

Any clues as to what the problem is and how I can fix it?

Thanks

RE: Acad2000 Postscript Export

What program is he using that is giving him the error?

Adobe Photoshop.
They did get it to open with Illistrator 6
on a Mac system but said it came through as a bunch of jagged lines.

RE: Acad2000 Postscript Export

This may or may not help
with plot files the printer driver has to be hp/gl not hp/gl2 this is because of the language difference might be the same problem he may want to set up a bogus printer driver just for making the postscript file

another item he could do is this set up a hpgl device use that to plot to file and if they have corel draw 8-10 there is an option to import plt but it must be gpgl not hpgl2 so then they can save that as something they can usin in either illistrator or photoshop
