VOC EMISSION FROM PETROCHEMICAL PLANT

VOC EMISSION FROM PETROCHEMICAL PLANT

VOC EMISSION FROM PETROCHEMICAL PLANT

(OP)
I work in a HDPE petrochemical plant. Can anybody help by educating me the way to estimate the quantity of VOC (mainly ethylene, isobutane, hexene) fugitive emissions to the atmosphere through compressors, rotary valves, pipe flanges, control valves and other process equipment. Hydrocarbon releases to atmosphere without combustion are slowly becoming an environmental issue. Appreciate you guys assistance.

RE: VOC EMISSION FROM PETROCHEMICAL PLANT

state and federal epa have manuals that contain the information that you are looking for.
