convert entities-selecting a face-inside vs ouside selection

convert entities-selecting a face-inside vs ouside selection

(OP)
In assembly mode I am having problems transferring a "racetrack" from a part to the sketch of another part.  I am editing part "a", starting a sketch on it, then select a surface of another part, and hit convert entities.  On the editing part sketch is the "outside" of the racetrack but not the "inside".  Is their a way to get both, without selecting each entity of the "inside" racetrack edges?

RE: convert entities-selecting a face-inside vs ouside selection

Convert the outside then select the face again, ctrl-select one of the inside lines, click on the convert icon.
