Lumped Parameter Method for Modelling 'T' frame

Lumped Parameter Method for Modelling 'T' frame

(OP)
Hi there,
I'm trying to model a 'T' frame using the lumped parameter method for modal analysis. I started off by considering a simple cantilever beam using the method and have run it through Matlab. But I'm now having problems trying to incorporate the 'T' joint in the frame.
Hope someone could lend a hand or point me to useful resources to get to grips with this. I would appreciate it if you could reply at eaysgc@nottingham.ac.uk
