Okay, I have several layers, with many points (from an older drawing someone else did, of course!).  Some of the points I want to move to different layers.  Without having to click on each point individually to copy the attributes, is there a way (in point list manager maybe) to move points between layers?

We do extensive fieldwork with topo and these points can get awfully jumbled.  Our previous CAD operator downloaded ALL points to one layer... :(

RE: combine layers with only certain points

Depending on which version of Autocad that you are running, you can use qselect and then filter for the items you need (i.e. Get "within all entities" , "any point", "on a certain layer", "the layername is somelayer"). Once they are selected, you can change their properties (i.e. Layer). Otherwise, you can also do this through LISP fairly easily also.

Thanks, I will try that!!
