AutoCAD Fatal Error
AutoCAD Fatal Error
(OP)
I keep getting this error:
FATAL ERROR: Unhandled c0000029h Exception at 77f893e6h
any suggestions or clues?
I also sometimes get the error :
Modeling Operation Error:
Exceeded stack limit.
Recently I've had a couple of instances where the "Save..?" option at crash was answered "yes" , but ACAD only created a 6k "Recover" file which of course was invalid. I'm torn between the obvious benefits of frequent saves and the sometimes significant time impact of stopping my work frequently (often in the middle of an operation) for a timed save which often takes many seconds.
Thanks-
C. Fee

RE: AutoCAD Fatal Error
Thanks for the link. However, they don't offer much more than we who've been working with ACAD for awhile already know. The the level of "generality" in their help files is sometimes a bit disappointing. I already knew that I was running low on system resources (duh) . What I was hoping you had helped me find was how to set the stacks level higher. Remember DOS ACAD where we could set heap & stack? Is there a way to do that in r-2002 or is this another improvement?
I'm locked in a near death-grip with my IT manager to get her to purchase the extra memory my boss has approved (over a month ago!) and the extra memory video card (I got an NVIDEA Quatro - IV approved!!!).
In the mean time, I'm still limping along with workarounds and crashes!
Anyway, its late on a Friday afternoon, and I digress...
I hope your Easter weekend was a pleasant one!
Thanks for your response-
