polymer additive

(OP)
My company uses white ABS to make the external cover of a boiler. It's at room temperature, uses in the house. We've got a problem: the piece is yellowing. I think that we must use light stabilizer, but which one:
- hydroxybenzophenon
- benzotriazole
- another one ?
thanks for your help

RE: polymer additive

Have you considered going to a different color in pastel, which would offset the yellowing? Light gray comes to mind.

RE: polymer additive

If the yellowing is caused by UV light rather than heat, have you tried ASA in place of ABS. Most other properties are reasonably similar. Extra care needs to be taken if useing solvent adhesive on ASA vs ABS

RE: polymer additive

I would check with manufacturers listed online under "UV stabilizers".
