Hello all,
i'm running dual monitors, but to my dismay i cannot drag open parts out of the solidworks window.  Is there a better way to use SW with dual monitors?

Cheers

RE: dual monitors

IF YOUR VIRTUAL DESKTOP IS ACROSS THE TWO MONITORS THEN RESIZE THE SOLIWORKS APP TO COVER THESE TWO SCREENS, THEN USE THE SPLIT BAR TO HAVE TWO MODEL VIEWS, OR FOUR, THIS IS WHAT I DO.

Hi John,
when stretch the S/W window accross the two monitors and then open a part, the part attempts to stretch accross the two screens and then crashes the program.  Can you say what I am doing wrong?

thanks

Gerry

RE: dual monitors

don't know, i'm using an ati radion card with no problems like that.

i'm stumped, try having the sw window on one screen only, open a part then stretch the sw window accross the two.
