Looking for someone who can help us set up Finite element model of simple elastomeric shapes for evaluation of developed stress during programmed deformation.  Any advice?

RE: FEM sources

Look into mechanical engineering faculty at Case Western Univ (Cleveland).

RE: FEM sources

I can help you with the analysis of elastomers including large strain, large deformation, and contact.

We are looking for similar studies but for Human Heart. Dose anyone know where we can obtain actual data for shape and mechanical properties of Human heart?
Thank you

thanks cubit and parnel- I'll follow up on both

Our modelling group may be of help - we can model non-linear materials and large deformation using a variety of codes. For further info take a look at our web site at http://www.ceram.com/modelling.
Best regards.
