Does any one know a sound absorption coefficient for polypropylene plastic?  I'm just looking for an estimate so any help would be great.  Thanks in advance

RE: Sound absorption coefficient for Polypropylene Plastic

Hi,

In what form is your plastic? in sheat, foam, loose microballs? To have any absorption properties, your product has to be foam with open cells.

cheers,

The sound absorption coefficient of plastic materials is also frequency dependent.
