Fatal Error Message

Fatal Error Message

Fatal Error Message

(OP)
When I quit Acad2002, an AUTOCAD ERROR ABORTING Message appears:
"FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0040 Exception at 6e5336h"
This does not affect the drawing files that I just close, but it might cause future degradation of the program.
Does anyone know what this error is and how it may be resolved without re-installing the program.

RE: Fatal Error Message

Hi Bayou,

"Unhandled Access Violation Reading", the famoust Errormessage, presented by Autodesk.

Search here:

               1. restart your computer
no success? -> 2. Try to repair AC (on Your install-cd)
                  ->recover the *.dwg

Good luck, Lothar
