Protective Relaying Quick Reference
Protective Relaying Quick Reference
(OP)
Even though the title of this book implies it is for Protective Relaying, there is a lot of other information, ranging from basic electrical relationships, power transformers, Ct sizing & connections, conductors, trig and conversion tables.
The book is 130 pages and is a small spiral bound, 4.5"x5" book. This makes it handy to keep in a briefcase or out at the job for quick refernce when needed.
It is available for $24.95 plus shipping from System Protection Services in Lewiston, ID, website is www.systemprotection.com
I'm not affiliated in any way with that company, I'm employed by a small investor owned utility company in the USA and wear many hats - supervisor for Line crew, generating station operators, station electricians, and hydro turbine mechanics, as well as being responsible for safety, environmental, electrical engineering (operations, relays, meters, etc.), so for me it is nice to use for a snity check.

If that is worth $25 plus shipping, get it. It was not worth it for me.
Just one opinion...

Two great things about it:
#1 - it's free
#2 - if you're near a computer with internet access, you can always get to it.... unlike my hardcopy references which always seem to be at home when I'm at work or vice versa.
