Autocad 2002 double click
Autocad 2002 double click
(OP)
In Acad 2000i and now in 2002 it is possible to bring up the text edit dialog box by double clicking on the appropriate text within a drawing. This appears to be the same with dimensions (again bringing up text dialog box (great for adding extra bits of text to a dimension). However at my new place of work - running 2002, when I double click on a dimension it brings up the 'properties' dialog box.
Is there a setting I can change to make the double click on dimensions bring up the text edit dialog box?
One of my collegues has this facillity usiing 2002 but doesn't know the setting.
Can any one help?
Thanks

RE: Autocad 2002 double click
I don't know more sysvars. Is the double-click property in WIN normal?
Maybe annother usere know the solution for the problem (do You use any applications?)
@naujoke You are right, if You can edit only TEXT and MTEXT, but what about editing:
attibuts, attributs in blocks, blocks, xrefs, mlines, hatches by double-click. Use it and You can stay longer time in bed, because You can work faster…

Sory, @exit, I didn't mention more command aliases.
RE: Autocad 2002 double click
1. type dcprops @ command line, "double click properties" set to [off]
2. express->tools->double-clik properties->[off]
sure hope this helps, not a big fan of double-clik properties.
RE: Autocad 2002 double click
The question was:
"How to set up the Autocad 2002 to bring up the text edit dialog box whan double click on a dimension line?"
