electro-hydraulic actuator - self contained, glycol fluid, AC motor

(OP)
Some years ago I recall seeing and article which describde a self contained electro hydraulic valve actuator which  used an AXC motor drive for the pump and water-glycol for the hydraulic fluid. I recaall it was made in the UK. However, I have not recently found any vednors which offer the same technology. \

Can anyone suggest a vendor of such actuators? We need 12 total, actuator force = 3500 lbf, 3.75" max stroke, stroke period of less than 2 sec, modulating service.

although its been a while, if you are still interested in this, try
http://www.kerryactuator.com/index.htm

They make an excellent actuator and can custom fit to your requirements.

You can also try www.rotork.com their "Skilmatic" line is pretty functional and the price is really good.  It is a UK Company with manufacturing in the UK and in New York state in the US.
