Hi, All,

Due to corporate rules we invest only in Siemens PLCs. Thus I'm replacing existing and running SLC500 (with SLC 5/03 cpu, couple of digital output boards and couple of digital input boards) with Siemens PLC.

From contractor vendor I have hardcopy of plc program, but I'd prefer to read program from SCL 5/03 and rely on it.

I do not have any AB plc tool. Is there any free or shareware tool which allows to upload everything from SLC 5/03?

There is no free software for the SLC platform, or any other that I know of.  You will have to purchase RSLogix500 to do the programming.

I think you can use "RS Ladder" for read only ladder display.  I think it came with our most recent update of "RS Linx" -- it may be cheaper since you don't need to make any ladder logic changes.
