I have a problem with a contraction ratio when I design a ruber to metal bush with double bonded bushing. That bushing is used to automotive suspension. The stifeness is depend on the contarction ratio of course but for now I have no idea how to solve it.
Does someone have knowledge/methods/literature about it?

pi= constant= 3,14
Ktor= torsional stiffness
G=Rubber shear modulus
L= Bearing Length

Well, I think that you haven't understood me exactly though. Let me tell you more about my problem. You know when I design a new metal to rubber bush - after moulding I have to contract the outer metal bush 0,4-1 mm (it depends on the bush diameter, stifeness, push out force, and thick of rubber too). For now I do it using my experience only. I have thought that it should be to solve.
If I have a plastic tube as a outer sleeve the contract is in the loop (the problem is the same, but the bush isn't contract of course)
