Using geophysical methods in CPT

Using geophysical methods in CPT

(OP)
Hi!
Does anybody have information about geophysical methods (nuclear methods, resistivity etc.) using in cone penetration test? Or some links about it?

Thanks!

RE: Using geophysical methods in CPT

I think that you might be talking about the seismic cone.  Do a search on Professor Paul Mayne at Georgia Tech - an old classmate.  He seems, given his propensity of papers, to be one of the "bright stars" in this field.  I've downloaded some of his papers and you'll find them of good interest.

RE: Using geophysical methods in CPT

Are you looking to quickly bracket a plume of LNAPL (direct push with SCAPs or UVIF), or just aquifer info.  E-mail me and I can send you some URL's.  best regards  ddt

RE: Using geophysical methods in CPT
