TRD301-Annex1-English Version-3.1.Ideal-Elastic mechanical hole-edge

Hi,

The translation to english version of the clause 3.1.1 subclause(1)of TRD301 Annex1 - April 1975 about alpham, alpham0 and relationship with residual gap, diameter ratio, nozzle internal diameter and the minimum yield strength at room temperature is a bit confusing.

Comparing with the German version, I see that alpham0=3.5 ( fur Walzverbindungen) is misssing in the English version as well.

I was wondering if someone can re-translate this clause for me from original German version and additionally give me more explonation about this subclause.

Thanks in advance.

There has been a significant revision in the 1996 german version, and the 1996 worksheets should be used. There are several typographical errors in the 1975 worksheets and also technical revisions.  The 1996 german version can be had from <www.ili-info.com>;

The TRD 301 has been superceded by the new European code EN-12952-3 appendix B- in at least 3 languages.
