Using "Sweep" and Workplanes

Using "Sweep" and Workplanes

Using "Sweep" and Workplanes

(OP)
I am an Inventor biginner. I am designing an exhaust system that has bends in (2) planes. How do I connect my sweep "line path" from "workplane" to "workplane". I have sucessfully made many bends in one "YZ" plane but I must bend into a "XZ" direction. I am unable to connect the lines creating the "path" from sletch 1 and sketch 2.

RE: Using "Sweep" and Workplanes

You need to create the path in each if the planes (or even just work points) exit all of the sketches.  Open a 3D skecth and join the segments of your path together or create 3d lines between workpoints/endpoints.  Make all of your construction sketches invisible and then use the 3D sketch for your path.

Regards

Steve
