I all , I want to know about the way to make  the heat disipator at shaft and seal on a high temperature pump.

Could it be water cooled?

RE: 220¦C oil pump

I used pumps (of KSB make) upto 3800C temperature for thermic fluid (Nitrogen pressurised dowtherm system) pumping application. The seals used are metal bellow type and worked fine at that temperature with steam quenching. The pumps have cooling arrangement to bearing housing and pedestal. Cooling arrangement to pedestal is to reduce vibration caused by thermal stresses.

Could you give me a seal brand name?

RE: 220¦C oil pump

We used Burgman metallic bellow seal with carbon, TC seal combination.
