Ball valve material

Ball valve material

(OP)
Can anyone tell me what is the difference between AISI 410 & ASTM A217 CA15. I tried to purchase a ball valve with a AISI 410 ball, but they only offer a valve with a ASTM A217 CA15 ball and said it will be same material. Is this true. My I have any problem using one instead of another?
Sincerely,
Surtigaf

RE: Ball valve material

ASTM A 217 is a standard for martensitic stainless steel castings.  Type 410 is a wrought stainless steel designation.

RE: Ball valve material

We can offer you Ball valves with both types of Balls i.e. with 410 or CA15 material. Basically it depends on the working pressure and temperature of the valve or line.

You can contact our company Leader valves Limited at the wb address leadervalves.com
