VOC Definition and Impact

VOC Definition and Impact

VOC Definition and Impact

(OP)
I'm evaluating some different rust preventative oil and need to better understand the impact and effects of volatile organic content.  I am concerned that products with a higher VOC content will provide less protection, due to the evaporation of the volatiles.

If a product has a higher VOC content, will it tend to provide less protection.  I looking at storage inside storage conditions, for up to 2 years of product that has very little natural corrosion resistance.

Any info. would be appreciated.  Thanks.

RE: VOC Definition and Impact

You are correct on the VOC evaporating.  If a VOC, in theory, then it will evaporate 100%.  Kesosine never dries.  If you need specific products, contact me separately.
