Autocad menu (*.mns) -After editing, changes not appearing

(OP)
After changing my menu file (acad.mns), I don't see any changes after opening a drawing. In the past, I had no problems adding addtional features to this menu.

You need to:
1. Close AutoCAD
2. Delete acad.mnc
3. Delete acad.mnr
4. Start AutoCAD

The .mnc and mnr files are created once the AutoCAD loads the updated menu files. If the compiled (.mnc) and resource (.mnr) files exist, AutoCAD will load them instead of the updated menu files.

Hope this helps!

Or you can type MENULOAD at th command line and browse and find the mns that you have edited and load it after you say ok to the browse dialog you click the loa dbutton then you should see some thing happen now if you added a menu pulldown then you will need to goto the menubar tab in the MENULOAD dialog and add the new Menu pulldown to you list of current ones
