(OP)
Hello everyone,

Can any one please tell me where to find Example problems of 3d optimization problems in website. If any one tells me i will be very thankful to you.

I have to optimize a pump casing. There are many parts in a pump casing like cover casing, end cover, body etc., Actually main aim is to reduce weight of the casing. How to optimize the weight of the casing?

RE: Where to find examples of 3d optimization problems?

Manigreat,

The website

http://www.feaservices.com

has a large models archive with pictures of models.  Many of these have been optimized.  There is also a good optimization article on the same website at:

http://www.feaservices.com/optimization.htm

I created an FAQ on this also.  You should check it out, it presents a method of preparation for optimization.

Good luck
