Adding Dimensions to existing Baseline set

Adding Dimensions to existing Baseline set

Adding Dimensions to existing Baseline set

(OP)
Hi,

I am currently working with a large drawing where I am using Baseline dimensions but due to part changes I would like to be able to add new dimensions to a Baseline dimension set so I don't have to modify individual spacing to put a new dim into drawing.

Does anyone know if this is possible and if so how it can be done?

I would greatly appreciate any help you can give.

Michael

RE: Adding Dimensions to existing Baseline set

This was taken from the internal UG BBS system. You might want to try looking in there for some answers. The advantage of the internal system is that you can get answers from UG development people. Web site is: bbsnotes.ugsolutions.com. You will need a Webkey to get in.

Yes, it is but you have to be careful when select the dimension you want to edit.  You should select the the whole set of baseline dimensions - not only one dimension in set -  then you can pick as many points as you want to add to the dimensions' set.  Use the confirmation window for that.
