Vapor Barrier Transmission Rate

Vapor Barrier Transmission Rate

Vapor Barrier Transmission Rate

(OP)
I am looking for a reference either by an organization or a maunfacturer that states what the vapor transmission rate (perms) is for a 6 mil reinforced polyethylene sheet. The only one I have been able to find is for unreinforced in ASTM and I need to know if the reinforcing makes a difference in vapor transmission rate.

Thanks

RE: Vapor Barrier Transmission Rate

A good reference is a book called Building Science for a Cold Climate published by National Research Council of Canada.  The SI perm value for 6 mil polyethylene is 0.0522 (dry cup) perms in ng/(Pa*s*m)
