Fill Cosmetic Sketch

Fill Cosmetic Sketch

(OP)
Hello,
I placed a cosmetic symbol (hand sketched) on a contoured surface and I was wondering if there was a way to fill just this symbol with a solid color?  It is a moon shape, split down the middle.  I want to fill only 1 hafe with a solid white color. I would like to do this in the part mode so it is viewable during rotation.

Please any help would be greatly appreciated
John

RE: Fill Cosmetic Sketch

Sure you can!

Create your surface as an independent one, and after that:

View – Model Setup – Color and Appearances – Add – Color Editor (to prepare the color you want) – OK – Select “Surfaces” from the menu from the lower right corner – Select your surface – Done Sel – Done - Set
