15x22 printer for Acad2k

15x22 printer for Acad2k

(OP)
I need to print 15x22 drawings (not a plotter). Does any body have any recommendation? I will be using Acad2000 on Win NT
(or perhaps Win98) station. I read about across Epson 1520.
But I hear about autocad drivers on some printers hard to get!

Thanks for your input.

RE: 15x22 printer for Acad2k

well i dont know of many who know of this but hp make a smal desktop model of the design Jet called the color cad pro which essentially looks like a oversized desk jet but is a great printer and finding drivers that work with autocad is no problem have the option of 2 different print sizes at one time from 4" x 6" (10 cm x 15 cm) up to 13" x 19" (33 cm x 48 cm) may not pe exactly what ur looking for but its pretty closeand i know a couple of people who have one and they are nice dont have to change paper as often if you need a larger size cause it has 2 trays 1 for smaller stock and 1 for larger stock but with out going up to one of the larger designjets i dont think you would be able to get around it

RE: 15x22 printer for Acad2k

We have been using the Epson here at Nait for three years and they get some pretty rough treatment by the students. The only problem we have had is the cartridges seem to dry out over the summer break.
