Dock locks/truck restraints

Dock locks/truck restraints

(OP)
Hello,

I am working on a warehouse improvement project and one of the major jobs is to install some dock locks/truck restraints.  There are so many different designs to choose from.  Does anyone have any experience installing dock locks or know of the best designs/suppliers.  I would like a dock lock that has a good vertical range.  My preference so far is to the hook versions.

What did you finally decide to go with on this installation?
Did you go manual or automatic?

RE: Dock locks/truck restraints

I have installed Rite-Hite Dok-Locks.  The supplier is Arbon Equipment.  You can find a web site with their locations.  We bought the hook style and it had enough height adjustment to take a number of different trailers.  In one place where there wasn't room for a hook style, we have a wheel lock.

We have no complaints with either of these styles from this manufacturer.
