It works! It's not quite as slick as generating them with the "GhostScript" set up, but it works fine.

Thanks Ben.

Hi, My name is Texaspete. I would like to know does the Free PDF program you mention access the internet? What are the pop-ups contents.
Thanks

RE: Wildfire to PDF

Yes, it opens some webpages related to the program to get you to buy it so you don't get the windows opening.

RE: Wildfire to PDF

I currently have Win2PDF.  I'm running Pro/E 2001.  When I initially purchased Win2PDF, it worked well.  Sometimes it would make Pro crash, but not always.  After I installed the latest build of Pro (2002310) it stopped working all together.  It crashes EVERY time now.  I emailed the company and they said they were aware of the problem but do not have a seat of Pro/E to test it on.  End of story...

Other than Pro/E it works great and was a bargan at only $35.

Sorry, I can't say whether it will work with Wildfire or not.

RE: Wildfire to PDF

Hi, easier way to creat PDF files without any popups is "Jaws PDF Creator". it is free and you can download it. it is like PDF995 but with a better quality. after installation you see a printer added to your printer list.

RE: Wildfire to PDF

Of course there is always abobe acrobat distiller... It installs as a printer too, and won't have any of the afformentioned reliabilty issues.

RE: Wildfire to PDF

Haven't you try "free pdf"? It's free and it has no 'extrange' pop up. You set it up like a ps printer and it works ok. The only thing you have to do is assign a name to the file every time you print something -or use always the same. And as far I know it don't access the internet.
