Thread403-28546 you make the 3mm any bigger or are you stuck with it? What is your fan capable of?

To avod dead spots (very desireable), the larger the perforations, the better. In fact better to have as large a number of perforations of smaller dia, so that you are able to maintain the air velocity required to support the puck. Air quantity required may not be large, but the pressure at which the fan has to deliver the air will be high. I think 3mm gap will make it higher. Practical to have about 80 mm to 100 mm gap, I think.
