Erosion in cyclones

Erosion in cyclones

Erosion in cyclones

(OP)
Hello

I'm building a cyclone seperator to remove oil and some other contamiments from an exhaust flow. I'm planning on producing a few of these in house. I have sized it o match my conditions but am looking for a simple analytical erosion model to justify one material over another. Does anyone know a simple erosion model for liquid droplets in a gas flow???

RE: Erosion in cyclones

What is the liquid? There are a few materials to choose from. Any given material can also be coated to help.
