fuel pump pressure

(OP)
Have a Allis Chalmers 6-cyl turbo diesel. (I think about a 77 model, it is on a Onan generator) Does anyone kow how much pressure the electric fuel pump should put out?

RE: fuel pump pressure

Assuming this engine is simialar to the engines that AC used in their tractors, I would say around 5-7psi. The pressure is probably not the issue...volume is. What is the problem you are having?
