Buss Bar

(OP)

I disassembled two 2000Amp service disconnects. I have a large amount of plated buss bar of all shapes and sizes. Other than scrap metal recovery, anyone know of companies who might buy this type of material??

RE: Buss Bar

In the US, it's not likely switchgear manufacturers are into reusing/"recycling" busbar stock.

Scrap dealers in some areas are reluctant to buy material that they may consider "stolen."  They may, as a personal favor, just his once, offer to unload it for a very small fraction of copper spot price.

What about constructing a nice objet d'art for the corporate-HQ foyer?

RE: Buss Bar

I used to have a length of it bent into a "Z" shape that made a pretty neat book stand.  The "Z" was on it's side and the books leaned to one side.  It got lost in a move.
If you have a bender you can make some cool nerd toys.
