Televsion Transmitter Installation - What standard applies?

(OP)
What standard is applicable to a television transmitter installation?  I tried searching the UL website and the majority of the references were for televisions, video or IT equipment.

RE: Televsion Transmitter Installation - What standard applies?

I did see a standard UL 1419 for Professional Audio and Video equipment. You would need to read the scope to see if this could apply. Keep in mind if you don't find a product specific standard it would be acceptable to use a standard of similar type. I think that UL 1950 is a good standard for your type of product. I don't know how well it covers installations if that is your concern.

As you probably already know, you should check FCC regulations for transmitter requirements/permits.
