Generator Protection & Busbar Diff. Protection

(OP)
I need theoretical information on "Generator Protection System" and " Busbar Differential Protection System ".
Where can I get these information?

RE: Generator Protection & Busbar Diff. Protection

Suggestions:
1. ANSI/IEEE Std 242-1986 "An American Standard IEEE Recommended Practice for Protection and Coordination of Industrial and Commercial Power Systems"
for buses and generators
2. ANSI/IEEE Std C37.97-1979 "American National Standard Guide for Protective Relay Applications to Power System Buses"
3. Try to visit manufacturers web sites:
http://www.ge.com
http://www.cooperpower.com
http://www.siemens.de
switch to English if needed
http://www.abb.com
http://www.basler.com
http://www.tde.alstom.com
etc. for more info

You can also contact LEA international they have been in the transient voltage surge suppression market for 30 years.

RE: Generator Protection & Busbar Diff. Protection

Also try IEEE Standard C37.102-1995 (R2001) "IEEE Guide for AC Generator Protection."  This document provides "A review of the generally accepted forms of relay protection for the synchronous generator and its excitation system is presented. This guide is primarily concerned with protection against faults and abnormal operating conditions for large hydraulic, steam, and combustion-turbine generators."

If you need something a little more basic on the relay protection of generators, busses, lines, etc. try http://www.geindustrial.com/pm/notes/artsci/index.htm
