Steel plate frame

Steel plate frame

Steel plate frame

(OP)
hi

i would like to ask if a 10m cantilever frame made up of top and bottom circular steel sections infilled with steel plate, would the bottom compression circular chord be subjected to lateral torsional buckling ? if there is, how to braced them ?

Another question is if a 50m roof truss subjected to uplift and the bottom circular chords are in compression, how to brace these bottom chords ? can i use x-bracing angles to brace them as the truss spacing is 12m ?
Thanks
