HYD SERVO VALVE: Maintenance & Flushing Proc.?

HYD SERVO VALVE: Maintenance & Flushing Proc.?

(OP)
I am trying to implement a simple, regular maintenance schedule and proper storage guidline for our current hydraulic servo-valve stock.

PROBLEM1: 2 diff. petro-based oils used (therefore, all Buna seals...) but what is best & simplest way to clean & purge a valve used with 1 oil when switching valve to another oil type or just putting valve into storage? **considering using N2???

PROBLEM2: We also use Skydrol oil (therefore, EPR seals)in other servos, and have endless trouble with leakage? Anyone using servos with EPR seals with success or lessons learned?

ALSO: Considering a once/yr interval checking & cleaning main servo filter & changing seals.

Thanks in advance.
