How can I simulate the improvement of octane number in gasoline with ethanol using hysys. Process  ?

Hi Sadiel,

If you mean mixing ethanol in a number of proportions to examine the resulting ON, you must first build as many streams as are needed with different compositions (or use HYSYS mixer U-Op), which you certainly know how to do. Then, you must assign an equal number of Cold Properties Utilities to the streams. results can be summarized in a HYSYS spreadsheet for easy access.
